What does Pearl Talent do?
We help healthcare founders and providers scale their practices by sourcing and managing high caliber international talent from the Philippines and Latin America. What makes us different is our focus on the top 1% of global talent with healthcare experience - we're not just filling roles but finding people who are compliant nurses and doctors who can manage complex scheduling, and support clinical teams effectively. We put our candidates through rigorous testing and coaching programs which helps us hit a higher retention success rate than our competitors. Our sweet spot is placing these high-performers in long-term roles where they can grow with your practice and become significant team members who understand the nuances of health operations.
What inspired you to start Pearl Talent?
The inspiration came from my own experience - I was scaling my previous venture and was drowning in work. Monty (my co-founder) was leading an ABA business and we both hired EAs from the Philippines, and the impact was immediate. Largely leaning on Monty's access to talent back home as he's a Filipino, we scaled our businesses with 60 incredible people over 2 years. After helping some founder friends, we decided to come together and what started as one EA quickly grew into hiring 200+ people for our clients.
We started out by helping founder friends in the mental health, ABA, healthtech, and homecare space, matching them with care coordinators, intake specialists, medical VAs, and more. Since then, we've built out teams for companies like Clarity Pediatrics, Songbird, Apos Health, Hone Health, Flychain, ABA Building Blocks, Haven Headache, and more. We quickly saw this amazing opportunity: there's incredible talent globally who are looking for better opportunities, and US companies that need high-caliber team members but are struggling with local hiring costs. Plus, being an immigrant from Venezuela myself, I really resonate with the power of creating economic opportunities for people back home. We realized we could build something that creates true win-wins - helping companies scale efficiently while providing life-changing opportunities for talented folks overseas.
